We bought Hamish as a pet, and after attending a couple of companion shows I had caught the showing bug..!!
He has been an excellent first show dog, with patience and impeccable behaviour which has
enabled me to learn the ropes of showing.
He has a fantastic nature and is the best four-legged companion you could ever wish to have.
To expand our horizons we joined the picking up/beating team on a local shooting syndicate in 2010/2011 and Hamish has been having a ball. As soon as he sees me wrapped up to venture out into the wilds with the game bag he is so excited. We are now nearing the end of our second season and I have to say that the exuberance he shows for our outings still sometimes outweighs the training I have tried to instill in him but thankfully the syndicate are very patient and do appreciate his efforts. We are extremely lucky to have been given an opportunity to join in with this great syndicate.
